About Aunty Rozzy
Aunty Rozzy is the creative world of Ros Tesoriero, a professional musician and educator passionate about helping children learn through music, movement and play.
Blending happy music with healthy messages, Aunty Rozzy brings together storytelling, songs and colourful characters to create experiences that children genuinely connect with and remember.
At the heart of everything Ros creates is a simple belief. Children learn best when they are engaged, involved and having fun.
Through music, rhythm and imagination, Aunty Rozzy helps children build confidence, develop language skills and form positive habits that last well beyond the early years.
Ros’ Story
Ros Tesoriero has been a dedicated musician and educator since 1987, inspiring generations of children through music.
A graduate of the NSW State Conservatorium of Music, Ros majored in classical piano and music education before continuing her studies in jazz improvisation in New York City. There, she worked alongside renowned jazz musician Dave Frank, further developing her skills in composition and performance.
Back in Australia, Ros taught across the full music curriculum, from infants through to high school, and spent ten years as Director of a leading music school in Turramurra. During this time, she specialised in piano teaching and early childhood music and movement programs.
Her work has been recognised internationally, with four semifinalist placements in the Children’s Section of the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville, USA, for songs including The Incredible Edible Alphabet, The Aunty Rozzy Theme Song and The Family Tree of the Broccoli.
Where It All Began
The idea for Aunty Rozzy began at a family dinner.
Ros watched her young nephew refuse to eat carrots… until they were suddenly renamed “Nanna’s Carrots”.
That small moment sparked something bigger.
It showed how imagination, language and play can completely shift the way children think, feel and behave.
From there, Aunty Rozzy was born. A world where music, storytelling and movement come together to make learning joyful, engaging and meaningful.
